THE FACILITY
The hospice mission is to provide compassion and care to terminally ill patients and their families. Your generosity can help Upper Chesapeake Hospice fulfill this mission in the home-like setting of its residential facility.
SPECIALIZED CARE
Upper Chesapeake Hospice is a place of peace and serenity for those in the final stages of life, a home away from home. And, because each person’s death— like each person’s life— is unique, private rooms allow for fulfillment of individual patient needs. In addition, each of the eight rooms has overnight facilities so that visiting family members and other loved ones may stay close.
Also, within the approximately 5,500 square-foot facility, Upper Chesapeake Hospice offers a community kitchen, dining room and living room, plus a sitting room/library equipped for family meetings, grief counseling or meditation. In addition, the facility has a non-denominational chapel open to patients and visitors.
